Warranty, Repairs & Resizing
WARRANTY
Dear Rae will cover the cost of reasonable repairs under normal wear due to a manufacturing default for the first three months after purchase unless a piece shows signs of improper care, negligence or accidental damage. This will be determined on a case by case basis upon inspection. Please get in touch with info@dearrae.com for assistance.
RESIZING & REPAIRS
If you need to get your ring resized or have damaged your Dear Rae piece, we work with a trusted jewellery workshop in London who will do their best to try to salvage it.
- Please see the return process below:
- Send us an image and a description of the damage to info@dearrae.com.
- We will contact you with confirmation as well as the shipping address where you’ll have to send it to.
Purchase a return shipping label to the workshop, and our trusted repairers will handle the rest!
Please note: You will be liable for the shipping costs to and from the workshop. The cost for repairs is dependent on the damage and we will quote you on receipt of an image of your jewellery.
- Chains: Dear Rae does not take responsibility for broken chains. Chains, by nature, are extremely delicate and need to be handled with great care.
- Stone Rings
We recommend that rings with stones be checked annually at your local jeweller. If the stone has fallen out due to negligence or accidental damage, the cost of the replacement stone will fall on the customer along with the necessary resetting fee and delivery costs determined on a case by case basis. All repairs on stone settings after 1 year post-purchase will require a fee for labour and/or material costs as well as logistical costs.
